The Michelin recommended restaurant is a firm favourite in the south east.
Serving up excellent food and wine in relaxed and informal surroundings, The Yard is a great place for a leisurely lunch. Using fruit and vegetables grown in their own garden, this allows the restaurant to use the freshest organic produce in season. Every Friday and Saturday, The Little Yard serves up Mediterranean tapas to spice up your weekend.
Templars Inn has a growing selection of craft beers, including Wexford’s own Hook Pale Ale. With stunning ocean views on their outdoor patio, the restaurant is famous for its fresh locally sourced seafood from the Hook Peninsula and the surrounding areas of Wexford. It offers casual dining in a family friendly atmosphere and is the ideal lunch spot while exploring the scenic area of the Hook Peninsula.
This contemporary eatery gives diners tasty food in casual surroundings. Open for brunch, lunch and dinner, Boa offers craft beers as well as speciality Boa cocktails like the Boa Bourbon and Tropical Spice. Serving up fierce flavours and killer cocktails, it is great for a laid back lunch.
La Côte is a contemporary seafood restaurant in Wexford town run by husband-and-wife duo, Paul and Edwina Hynes. They focus on fresh and seasonal produce with fish arriving daily from Kilmore Quay and herbs and vegetables grown in-house or foraged and sourced locally. Wild & Native
Situated on the coast of Wexford, this seafood restaurant delivers a relaxed dining experience. Overseen by owners Jodie and Fergal Dempsey, the menu at Wild & Native is constantly changing and celebrates Irish ingredients like Wexford Lamb and Wexford Bay Mussels. The restaurant won Yes Chef’s award for Best Seafood Ireland 2018.
Aldridge Lodge, located in the picturesque town of Duncannon, offers guest accommodation and a small restaurant owned by Billy Whitty and Joanne Harding. The restaurant is famous for its daily changing menu, inspired by the best local and home grown ingredients. Owned by star chef Kevin Dundon, Dunbrody House in New Ross is set on 300 arces of lush parkland. Guests to the stunning hotel can visit the spa, cookery school and enjoy some of Wexford’s best dishes. Diners can feast on homegrown produce from the kitchen’s herb garden and locally caught seafood. Simon Lambert & Sons
This lively gastro pub won Wexford’s Pub of the Year 2017 and is conveniently located in the heart of the city.
