Menus at Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa always feature fine local ingredients, but their Taste of West Cork Evenings are an opportunity to really shine the spotlight on some of this world-class produce. On Friday 4th December, Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa will host a special Christmas Taste of West Cork dinner, where guests can enjoy an appropriately festively themed tasting menu.
Showing appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the local farmers, fishermen and producers who produce these stellar ingredients, the Christmas Taste of West Cork will be a seven course culinary tour of West Cork with wines by Tindal Wines to accompany each course.
With ingredients from all over the countryside, the seashore and even the wild Atlantic itself, the exquisite menu for the Christmas Taste of West Cork dinner at Inchydoney, designed by Head Chef Adam Medcalf, showcases delicious, top-quality local products such as Traditional Cork Spiced Beef, Inchigeelah Game Terrine and Cranberry and West Cork Berry sorbet.
Beginning with a drinks reception at 7.30pm, dinner is served in the lovely surroundings of the hotel’s Inchydoney Room and will be accompanied by Tindal’s wines, carefully selected to best complement the dishes and presented by Anthony Tindal.
Part of what makes Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa so special is how it reflects its actual setting in a very real way. This stylish and smart Irish seaside hotel, happy in its environment, loves where it is and wants to convey that deep appreciation for its setting to its guests. The Taste of West Cork dinner is the perfect way to do just that, with tickets at €65 available from reception.
