Just in time for Christmas and close of the Mountain Lamb season, the Calvey family that brings us Achill Mountain Lamb, has brought together the best of what Achill Island has to offer.
‘Mountain Lamb is currently at it’s peak so Christmas deliveries would always have been a busy time of year for us. This year we decided to highlight and compliment our lamb with some of the other produce from the community of Achill Island, including flavoursome seaweeds, smoked fish and chutneys’, says Martin Calvey.
Flavours of Achill Island includes a whole leg of Achill Mountain Lamb, boned & rolled shoulder, french-trimmed rack of lamb, centre loin cutlets, rolled lap of Achill Mountain Lamb, with smoked Achill Island mackerel, smoked salmon, dillisk or carrageen, and three flavours of Achill Mountain Lamb sausages plus some homemade sauces and chutneys, a homemade traditional Christmas Cake and homemade brown bread. Also included is a bespoke piece of limited edition Achill Island Pottery.
The price is €149 plus delivery charges. Delivery is available nationwide and throughout the UK. Last orders for Christmas must be placed by 10th of December.
