Adare Manor Appoints New Director of Culinary Loughlin Druhan Ahead of Reopening

Adare Manor’s luxurious doors have been closed for over a year, with owner JP McManus investing €30 million in an extensive refurbishment of the property. Due to reopen at the end of this year, it is expected that 300 jobs will be created in Adare Manor and the position of Director of Culinary has been confirmed as filled.

Chef Loughlin Druhan has been appointed as Pre-Opening Director of Culinary and has been working with the team at Adare Manor since last June designing the concept of the new Food and Beverage offering at the five star property. Loughlin has been involved in the development of all aspects of food and beverage to be offered in the refurbished Adare Manor and brings with him a wealth of experience from high end restaurants worldwide.

Here in Ireland Druhan has held senior positions in leading hotels such as The K Club and he has served as Executive Chef in numerous luxury properties in the Ritz-Carlton portfolio in Cairo, Bahrain and Dubai. Loughlin’s new role at Adare Manor sees him leaving behind the position of Director of Food and Beverage/Culinary in Abu Dhabi’s prestigious Jumeirah at Etihad Towers.

With Loughlin’s expertise, a five star face lift and the addition of Ireland’s first Le Mer Spa, the new and improved Adare Manor is gearing up to be Ireland’s leading name in luxury when it reopens in late 2017.
