Aer Lingus have extended their winter holiday seat sale amid the current Ryanair controversy, with fares from just €29.99.
The offer is available on seats across Europe if you’re flying between October 1st 2017 and February 28th 2018.
In a press release, Aer Lingus’ Chief Operating Officer, Mike Rutter, said: “There’s nothing more disappointing than having your holiday plans canceled at the eleventh hour. Over the last few days, we’ve seen record demand for our holiday rescue fares.”
He added: “We don’t want to see anyone grounded this October, so we’re delighted to extend our #HappyWinter Sale to include travel from 01 October until end of February and to reassure our guests that we plan to operate 100% of our flights to top European holiday destinations.”
When listing the European destinations on offer in the sale, which include Paris, Madrid, Lisbon and London, they commented that they’ve been confirmed to be “Ireland’s most punctual airline in and out of Dublin.”
The extended sale announcement comes as the airline’s rival, Ryanair, is struggling to process more than 300,000 customer cancellations on a total of 2,100 flights over the next six weeks.
