Andrew Rudd Launches On Street Pop Up Pavilion for Dine in Dublin with Airbnb

On Saturday celebrity chef Andrew Rudd launched the latest addition to this year’s Dine in Dublin festival. Andrew has teamed up with Airbnb, the world’s largest home sharing platform, to bring this unique pop-up to St. Stephen’s Green.

The glass pavilion will be open until Wednesday 24th February from 12-5pm and will be hosting some interactive cookery demos and tastings with Andrew and a host of other head chefs from the city’s favourite restaurants including Pichet, The Exchequer, 101 Talbot, Soder+Ko and Opium, to name but a few.

To ensure passers-by feel at home in the heart of the city centre, the Dine Pavilion in association with Airbnb is inspired by the apartment of celebrity chef and Airbnb host, Andrew Rudd. Guests can sit back and relax in the comfort of Andrew’s ‘living room’ to enjoy the tasty treats served up in the pavilion.

The Dine Pavilion, in association with Airbnb, promotes the rich selection of culinary delights available in Dublin city centre and the unique travel experience that Airbnb hosts provide to thousands of visitors from all across the globe.

For those that want to experience a fully immersive taste of Andrew’s famous hospitality, his apartment is now bookable at www.airbnb.ie/rooms/11274319.

Richard Guiney, CEO of DublinTown, said: “Dine in Dublin has established itself as a key annual culinary event in the Dublin calendar. For many Dubliners, it is an opportunity to sample the best cuisine that the city has to offer. In recent years, Dublin’s restaurants have really put themselves on the map for quality and variety, with 50% of Dubliners regularly choosing to visit the city to dine out. The addition of the Dine Pavilion to the festival over the last 3 years, has widened the reach of the promotions and events that take place over the week. It gives the public a chance to see free live cookery demonstrations and taste samples of the city’s top dishes.
