Is this New Art of Millinery Afternoon Tea Dublin’s Most Stylish High Tea?

The five star Westbury Hotel just off Grafton Street is well known as one of the city’s most luxurious hotels, and its prime location in the heart of one of Dublin’s primary shopping districts has likely inspired their uber stylish new Afternoon Tea offering.

The Art of Millinery Afternoon Tea has just launched, with some of the most elegant and stunning dessert creations we have seen this side of Paris. The Westbury has teamed up with the Council of Irish Fashion Designers and a number milliners from around Ireland to create this cutting edge, high fashion Afternoon Tea.

The Westbury’s talented Executive Pastry Chef Ray Encarnacio has collaborated with the CIFD to produce a collection of delicious desserts which are visually stunning interpretations of a number of bespoke headpieces. These limited edition headpieces have been designed for The Westbury by Irish milliners Davina Lynch, Leonora Ferguson, Aoife Kirwan, Wendy Louise Knight and Margaret O’Connor.

Diners can expect cutting edge patisserie such as Galaxy Coconut Clotted Cream, Blueberry Cheesecake , Magpie Caramel Whipped Ganache, Chocolate Tarts crafted with single origin Madifloro chocolate and Hope Pear Almond Choux.

“The Art of Millinery” Afternoon Tea experience costs €47 per person or for €59 per person you can add a glass of Perrier Jouet or Perrier Jouet Rosé, or a glass of Dom Pérignon champagne for €80.

This stunning Afternoon Tea will be offered from August 31st to October 1st and served in The Gallery, overlooking Grafton Street – what a stylish way to spend an afternoon!
