The Spa at Ashford Castle has further cemented its reputation as one of Ireland’s most luxurious destinations after picking up two awards at the 2017 Irish Tatler Spa Awards.
Michelle Ryan, Spa Manager at Ashford Castle, collected the coveted titles of Best in Service and Overall Connacht Spa of the Year on behalf of the luxury hotel.
Since it was unveiled in 2015, the Spa at Ashford Castle has been globally recognised as one of the world’s top spas, and was named Ireland’s Top Hotel Spa at the World Spa Awards in 2016.
Commenting on the awards, Ashford Castle’s General Manager, Mr Niall Rochford said: “We are incredibly proud of Michelle and The Spa team to have been awarded not one, but two accolades at the Irish Tatler Spa Awards.
Our ethos has always been to deliver a level of service that is over and above expectations so we are delighted to have been named Best in Service.
To have been recognised as the Connacht Spa of the Year is another great honour for us and we will continue to offer our guests one of the finest luxury experience in the world.”
The striking French-style conservatory is adjoined to the 800 year old castle and houses an indoor resistance pool offering views across the serene Lough Corrib.

The Spa offers products from organic Irish brand Voya, internationally renowned Elemis and Red Carnation Hotel’s very own B|Africa product range, previously exclusive to the collection’s South Africa properties.
