Ashford Castle warmly welcomes Ms Lisa Toomey to its five-star team as the newly appointed Director of Food & Beverage. Lisa joins the team of 350 staff at one of Ireland’s most luxurious hotels where “no request is too large, no detail too small”. Ashford Castle is now under the ownership of The Tollman family of Red Carnation Hotels, who have now completed a $75 million restoration of this iconic property recently.
With 11 years of rich experience in the hospitality industry, Lisa brings a wealth of knowledge to Ashford Castle from her work in both the Irish and UK markets. Lisa has previously worked as Food & Beverage Manager at the Hyatt Regency London and most recently as Director of Food & Beverage at London’s The Connaught Hotel before her move to Ashford Castle.
The Food & Beverage experience at Ashford Castle encompasses a number of unique offerings for guests including the fine dining George V Dining Room with the masterful Executive Chef Philippe Farineau in the kitchen, the atmospheric bistro-style Dungeon restaurant, the Prince of Wales Bar, the recently reopened Cullen’s at the Cottage, a seasonal restaurant located on the grounds of the Ashford Estate) and award-winning Wine Cellar.
