Balfes, one of Dublin’s most popular all-day dining destinations, located in the heart of Dublin’s Creative Quarter, is serving up an exclusive treat this summer. Guests of the chic social hub, hugely popular for its sharing plates, can now complement their dish with the arrival of POPS, premium ice popsicles in Champagne, Bellini, Strawberry & Mint or Apple & Elderflower flavours, with a limited edition Moscow Mule exclusive to Balfes.
Launched in June 2014, two old school friends, James and Harry, saw a gap in the market for a contemporary, unique and fun concept. With a vision to incorporate the nostalgia of a popsicle with the luxury attributes associated with Champagne, the world’s first Champagne ice popsicle was born. Last summer POPS launched in Ibiza where they were available in the island’s hottest beach clubs and restaurants.
Balfes are serving the POPS range in mini champagne buckets filled with crushed ice, and suit every taste with five unique flavours, including alcohol-free choices.
POPS have recently partnered with two premium brands, Fever-Tree and Chase Distillery, to bring you the world’s first Moscow Mule ice popsicle. This limited edition flavour, with only 36 calories, is available exclusively from Balfes throughout the month of August.
The low calorie range, which can be enjoyed on the stylish outdoor terrace with friends, has been enjoyed by an array of celebrities including Miley Cyrus, Jonathan Ross, Kate Moss, Gordon Ramsay, Alan Carr, Jack Whitehall, Example, Andy Murray and many more.
Balfes offers a POPS ‘to-go’ option too for those who wish to take a leisurely stroll through the Creative Quarter after a scrumptious brunch, lunch or casual dinner at Balfes.
