Bombay Sapphire was awarded the prestigious Double Gold and Gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC). The premium gin was selected by a panel of 43 international spirits experts, which included the Director of Judging and Master-Mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim.
The SFWSC is currently in its 17th year and is considered to be the most influential spirits competition in the World. This year the awards received more than 2,100 entries. When all members of the judging panel give a gold medal rating, the spirit receives the Double Gold designation. This is awarded to very few entries and this year they named Bombay Sapphire as one of the finest products in the world.
Raj Nagra, Bombay Sapphire Global Brand Ambassador comments, “Bombay Sapphire really is leading the resurgence of gin, and we are delighted that the ceaseless passion and endeavour that goes into creating our exquisite liquid, as demonstrated by our Master of Botanicals Ivano Tonutti who travels the world to hand-source our botanicals, has been recognised in such a prestigious competition.”
Bombay Sapphire is based on a 1761 recipe, and is created by perfectly balancing a unique combination of 10 hand-selected exotic botanicals from around the world.
