Ireland’s biggest food festival, Taste of Dublin, returns to the Iveagh gardens 16th-19th of June. Sponsored by Electrolux, this year’s festival will see over 30,000 food lovers gather in the gardens to experience the best Irish food and celebrate our vibrant culinary scene.
Taste of Dublin is renowned for featuring the finest chefs and restaurants around and this year they are championing talents that are flying the flag for Irish cuisine on an international stage.
The ‘homecoming’ celebration will welcome back award winning chefs at the helm of some of the world’s top restaurants: Cathal Armstrong has cooked for US President Bush and President Obama, Robin Gill from the renowned Dairy Restaurant in Clapham London and Gordon Ramsay’s former Head Chef Anna Haugh, all of whom will cook alongside some of the country’s leading culinary figures including Neven Maguire, Kevin Thornton, Richard Corrigan and Kevin Dundon.
All the chefs will be participating in the Electrolux Taste Theatre with interactive demonstrations and the Electrolux Chefs’ Secrets will allow visitors to get up close and personal with culinary legends.
The festival is dedicated to supporting and nurturing new Irish culinary talent so for the first time they will champion the new kids on the block of the Irish food scene with Bunzl McLaughlin backing the Rising Star award.
For the eleventh year running, Taste of Dublin is bringing a superb selection of restaurants to the festival along with the O’Brien’s Wine Experience, a Tapas Experience and a dedicated World of Food & Beer area.
Visitors can enjoy the best produce from over 60 exhibitors as they sit back and allow the JUST EAT waiters to deliver their individual food orders.
Tickets from €15 are on sale from April 2016 at www.tasteofdublin.ie.
