Here’s Why Food and Music Lovers Should Flock to Portobello Harbour This Weekend

The beautiful Portobello Harbour might already be a prime location for leisurely weekend canal-side strolls for you, but this Saturday and Sunday you’ll want to linger for a little longer as the Canal Bank Market will pop up on Portobello Square on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th, from noon until 6pm.

The market is in association with Dublin City Council and Canalaphonic Festival 2017.

Dublin’s biggest showcase of independent Irish music Canalaphonic kicks off on Culture Night, Friday 22nd, and will end on Sunday 24th.

Now an integral part of the celebration of music, culture and arts, visitors to the two day market can expect hot beverages, artisan baked goods, local arts and crafts, vinyl records and more.

Far from the only canal side action, the square will play host to a host of off-beat activities, including musical acts in local venues, and family supping and paddle boarding right on the canal.

For more information on Canalphonic visit their Facebook page.
