ABOUT CASK
Cork newcomer Cask bar and kitchen embraces energy and creativity with a laidback style. An accomplished team – bar manager and chief mixologist Andy Ferreira and executive head chef Bryan McCarthy – have designed drinks and food menus that mix innovation and global influences with the amazing local ingredients produced, grown and foraged on their doorstep in Co Cork.
The seasonal craft cocktail menu changes every eight weeks where nature allows for it and is based around what wild ingredients are available to pick and forage, such as gorse flowers, fresh dillisk, rosemary flowers, young spruce shoots and new season nettles. Three specialist Japanese ice machines have been installed which they use to produce block, ball and flavoured ice.
The small dishes and sharing plates food menu fuses global influences and local ingredients. Alongside cheese and charcuterie boards, expect Japanese-inspired dishes like Dashi Broth and Tonkatsu Chicken Wings with Kombu Salt, Korean-style Pork Belly in steamed buns and Spanish-inspired Black Bean, Monkfish and Chorizo.
Married with a lush outdoor all-weather courtyard and eclectic music policy, you’re left with a drinks, food and entertainment venue that’s truly remarkable and unique.
PHOTOS OF CASK
World Class Irish Bartender of the Year for 2017, Andy Ferreira, is Cask manager and chief mixologist. This very prestigious award win will see Andy competing in the global finals in Mexico in September.

Nature inspires Kinsale-raised Andy; the never-ending potential to make original drinks through the infinite produce that surrounds him in Cork. His passion lies in making something completely unique while pushing the boundaries of flavor and our senses.
Passion, knowledge and experience drive the entire Cask team, two members of which have come from Michelin star establishments.
