New Premium Catering Facility at Dublin Airport is Looking For Chefs

Are you a chef looking for a new challenge? An exciting new flight catering facility has just opened at Dublin Airport and it will be supplying premium long-haul carriers with up to 4,000 meals a day.

Coming from one of the world’s largest air service providers, dnata, which is part of the Emirates Group, the new catering facility is expected to create 60 new jobs for chefs, logistics managers, operations managers, drivers, stores and health and safety staff members.

Speaking about the new facility, Gary Chapman, president of dnata, said: “We see this as a real vote of confidence in the Irish market, which we will support further by sourcing from local food producers and suppliers.”

He added: “We work with chefs and teams from around the world with diverse expertise. This means we understand the culinary needs of our airline customers’ equally diverse range of passengers.”

The diverse culinary expertise displayed by their chefs will ensure that a wide range of palates and dietary requirements are met.

Dnata prepares over 320,000 meals every day for more than 190 airlines so it will be a wonderful addition to Dublin Airport.
