This November, Dine in Galway are launching a week-long celebration of Galway’s local food and produce to mark Galway as the European Region of Gastronomy.
From the 5th to the 11th of November, hundreds of restaurants, cafés and bars across Galway city and county are partnering with local food producers, highlighting the best of Galway food.
Co-ordinator of this tasty event, Elaine Donohue said: “We are delighted and proud that Galway’s restaurants, cafés and bars are putting local ingredients at the centre of their menus for Dine In Galway in celebration of the European Region of Gastronomy title. Galway’s dining landscape is renowned throughout Ireland and internationally for being exceptional.”
During the week, visitors can expect unique collaborations and specially designed menu items highlighting first-class regional produce that showcase Galway’s world-class food and dining landscape.
Eimer Killian, Galway representative for The Restaurants Association of Ireland said: “We are very excited to showcase our connection with producers for Dine In Galway.”
