All the stops were pulled out for picking the judges for this years Bollinger Best Dressed Lady Competition with no less than fifteen personalities engaged. The competition is part of the Punchestown Festival. Each day the panel is made up of a celebrity judge, a fashion editor or blogger, a racing WAG and sponsor’s representative.
The Punchestown Festival takes place from Tuesday 25th to Saturday 29th April 2017.
The judges are as follows:
Tuesday 25th: Xposé presenter Glenda Gilson will be joined by Social and Personal Editor, PJ Gibbons and horse trainer Andy McNamara’s wife Rhona take to the enclosures to seek out the most stylish ladies in attendance.
Wednesday 26th: The lovely ladies on Wednesdays panel are Aisling O’Loughlin owner of Exquisite.ie, Naomi Clarke (aka The Style Fairy), Linda Stinson of Bellamianta Tan and Hannah Power wife of Gold Cup and Grand National winning jockey Robert ‘Puppy’ Power.
The Style Fairy, Naomi Clarke gave ladies some insight into what she’s looking for saying “I’ll be looking out for ladies who look comfortable, confident and happy in their look. As well as that it’s so important to show off your own personal flair and style, while still being race appropriate. I can’t wait to see all the fabulous ladies and all the style on the day.”
Thursday 27th: RTÉ’s Bláthnaid Treacy will lead the panel along side fashion blogger Serena Stack of Unrivalled Chic, Milliner Derek Montgomery and Paula Geraghty wife of top jockey Barry Geraghty.
Friday 28th: The grand final will be judged by Vogue Williams, Heather de Bromhead the super stylish wife of horse trainer Henry de Bromhead, Irish Independent Fashion Editor, Bairbre Power and Bollinger’s very own Bastien Mariani.
Finalists on each day will each receive a luxury goodie bag filled with luxurious treats including Topflight vouchers, race day tickets, Bellamianta Tan and much more!
