Celtic Whiskey Shop to Host an Irish Whiskey Charity Tasting Just in Time For St. Patrick’s Day

Great news for whiskey lovers as Celtic Whiskey Shop is hosting an Irish Whiskey Charity Tasting will take place in aid of Mary’s Meals at 57 The Headline. The tasting will take place on the 15th of March, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. An exciting opportunity to taste some great Irish Whiskey and doing it all for a good cause.

The tasting will include some of Ireland’s newest and most interesting whiskeys including, Method & Madness Single Malt, Method & Madness Single Grain, Method & Madness Single Pot Still, Powers 16 year Old Single Cask, Roe & Co Whiskey, Irishman 17 Year Old Single Malt, Cill Airne Cask – Pedro Ximenez Cask and Cill Airne Oloroso Cask.

Beginning in 2002 Mary’s Meals began by feeding 200 children in Malawi and is now a global movement that sets up school feeding projects in some of the world’s poorest communities where hunger and poverty prevent children from gaining an education. The charity provides one daily meal in a place of learning to attract chronically poor children into a classroom. This will help the children receive an education that can, in the future be their ladder out of poverty. Today the charity is feeding over 1 million children every school day in 14 countries around the world including Syria, South Sudan, Myanmar and Haiti.

Tickets are €40 and the full price will be donated to Mary’s Meals and a full-house on the night will see 135 more children fed each day for an entire year.

Tickets are available from Celtic Whiskey Shop or Over the Phone On +35316759744. Tickets are also available to purchase online, www.celticwhiskeyshop.com/blog/Marys-Meals-Tasting-2017
