The super stylish Charlotte Quay, a perfect waterfront summer dining destination, has announced the second in its Summer Series, taking place on Bank Holiday Sunday, August 5th.
The theme for this latest fun and food packed lunch is Surf and Turf, served family style as a tasting menu, with sundowners and smooth tunes. Perch at the water’s edge and make the most of the great weather, with cocktails on the terrace from 4pm and dinner at 6pm.
Appetisers on the terrace include Salt Cod & Black Pudding Cakes and Lobster and Pea Croquettes. Served family style at the table, there’s starters of Trout Rillettes with pickled gooseberries and Scallop and Lardo Skewers.
For mains, expect seriously tempting delights like Duck Fat Roasted Salmon and Rose Veal Osso Buco with Gambas. A Peach Cheesecake with honeyed granola marks the end of the meal, but just the start of a wonderful summer’s evening, sitting on the dock of the bay.
