Check out Aldi’s Seafood Concept ‘Hooked by Aldi’ at Taste of Dublin

Aldi have arrived at this year’s Taste of Dublin in the Iveagh Gardens with a new concept ‘Hooked by Aldi’ which will be showcasing their extensive seafood range.

Visitors can sample a trio of fish dishes with matching wines and dessert too. The menu at the beach hut style restaurant includes Pan-fried Fillet of Sea Bass served with Pommes Mousseline and Sauce Vierge, Organic Salmon & Smoked Salmon Rillette with Picked Beetroot Relish and Fresh Hake served with a Chiffonade of Baby Gem Lettuce and Guacamole.

They are also be serving up Aldi Specially Selected Ice-cream in a waffle cone for dessert, ideal for strolling around Taste.

This year, diners at #HookedByAldi are being asked to make a donation to FoodCloud, a social enterprise that makes a huge difference by connecting businesses like Aldi who have surplus food to local charities. To date Aldi has donated over 277,000 meals and will match the amount donated at Taste of Dublin this year.

Dublin’s Iveagh Gardens will welcome thousands of foodies at this year’s festival, one of the largest in Ireland. Taste of Dublin is taking place Thursday, June 16th to Sunday, June 19th. Tickets are available on dublin.tastefestivals.com.
