Taking up residence on Curved Street in Dublin’s Temple Bar, Meltdown is open from 8am seven days a week, offering diners a huge variety of tempting dishes, from favourites to new treats.

Boasting an on-stret terrace, indoor seating and even a rooftop garden for al fresco dining, your only struggle will be trying to pick a dish to devour.

The Breakfast of Champs is the best possible start to your day, with dishes including ‘Egg on your Face’- Egg Mayo, Avocado, Monterey Jack and Feta Cheese, Red onion and Kalamata Olives (€7.10) or opt for yoghurt, granola or pastries and a choice of speciailty coffee roasted locally in Fairview by the coffee alchemist Jamie O’Neill.

Lunch options include gorgeous grilled cheese sandwiches like ‘Mac Mama’ a mix of Macaroni and Cheese, Bacon, Scallions and Monterey Jack Cheese (€7.80) or choose the healthy option of a Fresh Seasonal Salad of Mixed Leaf Lettuce, Tomato, Avocado, Seeds, Mango, Scallions, Beetroot (€6.50). The cheese board will be back on the menu shortly at €12.50 for two people.

Chill out any time of day with an Ice Cream Cone with a flake and sprinkles (from €2) or indulge in a Sundae Fusion like Brownie, Pecan and Butterscotch Sundae (€4.20). Upstairs is The Black Box, a community arts space, suitable for anything from rehearsals and performances to exhibitions and events.

Speaking about the new venue, Meltdown’s owner, Maeve O’Malley, said: “I would like to see this space evolve and be used to its fullest potential, I want for it to become a space that inspires creativity and raises awareness of important issues in the city in an interesting way. The space is wonderful and unique in its city centre location – there is the beautiful outdoor area and then the fabulous Black Box, both with endless possibilities.”

To celebrate the move, Meltdown is hosting a Secret Garden Party this Saturday 21st July from 3pm-11pm, serving up crazy ice cream collabs, prosecco, bags of cans and Buckfast as well as three DJ sets on the day. Tickets to The Secret Garden Party are €10 plus booking fee and are available here.
