Did Someone Say Chocolate? Here’s How You Can Indulge Your Senses And Become a Master Chocolatier

It’s true that here at TheTaste, we love chocolate. In fact, we would put our hands up and admit that we are chocoholics. If you’re like us then you will swoon over this chocolate workshop held in the beautiful Victorian style Firmount House.

Bean and Goose are one of Ireland’s most beloved chocolate brands. This luxurious treat is made from single origin chocolate using classic techniques of hand tempering on marble slabs.

Located in Last Tree Farm in Co.Wexford, Bean and Goose are bringing their delicious goods to Firmount House. On Saturday, October 13th from 4.00pm – 6.00pm, guests are invited to take part in a chocolate workshop designed to delight chocolate lovers.

Once you arrive at your ultimate day of indulgence, you will be welcomed with a steaming mug of hot chocolate, the perfect way to relax and unwind before the workshop begins.

During the workshop, you will learn the art of ganache, where you will infuse chocolate and learn how to roll truffles.

Learn top tips and tricks from the experts during the demonstration, after which you will get the chance to perfect your skills by working in small groups creating your favourite fruit or herbal chocolate infusion.

When you finish the workshop, you will get to take home your very own batch of handmade truffles. Guests are invited to peruse the gardens at Firmount House and unwind afterwards.

Set in four acres of beautiful parkland, Firmount House is a little haven of luxury that has been painstakingly restored to its former glory – it’s the perfect setting for a day of chocolate decadence.

Bean and Goose was founded by sisters Karen and Natalie Keane and has become a firm favourite around the country. You can read more about their exciting journey here.

Tickets for this delicious chocolate workshop start at €35.00 and are available on Eventbrite. For more information about Bean and Goose, visit www.beanandgoose.ie.
