It has just been announced that Dublin’s newest hotel is set to open its doors on the banks of Dublin’s Grand Canal. Clayton Hotel Charlemont is housed within three 18th century Georgian buildings and great care has been taken to keep the stunning original features intact while blending these with modern architecture
The stylish new hotel boasts 189 guestrooms, along with a state of the art fitness suite and six meeting rooms.
Guests can enjoy two exciting new dining option in the four-star hotel, Lockside Bar/Social and Gaudens Restaurant. Gaudens is an intimate restaurant that offers beautiful views over the Grand Canal. The menu has been designed by head chef Anil Roy and his culinary team and is full of local Irish produce with dishes that will delight all tastes.
Enjoy Silver Hill Duck Breast with Parsnip, Shimeji Mushrooms and Pear; Heirloom Beetroot Salad with Ardsallagh Goat Cheese and Nut Crumb or Roast Slane Valley Rump of Lamb with Pearl Barely and Chermoula.
In the elegant lobby, guests can enjoy Red Bean Roastery Coffee, that has been exclusively designed for the hotel group. A full coffee shop is set to open within the lobby of the hotel, that is perfect for guests to unwind in and enjoy the ambience of the hotel.
