The menus at Cleaver East restaurant feature the very best in Irish and European cuisine with an emphasis on high quality, locally sourced ingredients. Diners can savour the delicious ‘Dublin Bay Prawn Dumplings, Oriental Mushrooms and Lemongrass Broth’ to start, followed by the ‘Cutlet of Wicklow Lamb with Crispy Lamb Breast, Garlic Puree, Crushed Swede and Rosemary Aioli’, with ‘Passion Fruit Panna Cotta, Honeycomb, Pineapple and Mint Salad’ to finish.
The A La Carte menu also features ‘Beef Cuts @CleaverEast’ which will certainly please meat lovers with its beefy selection of the finest cut meats. Diners can also sample a mouth-watering 6 Course Surprise Tasting Menu, selected by Michelin Star Chef Oliver Dunne.
‘Not Afternoon Tea’ is a creative, funky play on the classic ‘Afternoon Tea’. At Cleaver East restaurant, they like to push the boundaries and ‘Not Afternoon Tea’ is no different; they’re giving ‘Afternoon Tea’ a facelift and bringing it into the 21st Century with a Cleaver Twist! Be advised you will not see a Cucumber Sandwich featured on the ‘Not Afternoon Tea’ Menu… what you will find is delicious contemporary savoury and sweet treats served alongside the rocking cocktail menu.

Cleaver East restaurant can facilitate gatherings of up to 124 guests for private dining, with two semi-private balconies; one accommodating up to 34 diners and the other accommodating up to 30 diners. Cleaver East also accommodates private dining within the Cleaver East Suites: three suites located on the first floor of the hotel, featuring striking views over the River Liffey and Dublin City Centre; perfect for city centre dining.
Cleaver East Suites are bright, airy and elegant; facilitating gatherings from 20-100 guests for sit down functions and up to 140 for a standing reception. Whether you’re looking for a working lunch, an exquisite sit down dining experience or delicious canapés, you can be rest assured knowing that Oliver and his team will be catering for you, your family and friends, guests or colleagues.
