Taking the traditional coffee morning fundraiser concept and giving it a twist – literally – the idea is to raise funds and awareness for men’s health by getting bars, restaurants and the Movember community to host their own Irish coffee fundraisers.
Movember is asking bars and restaurants around the country to champion Irish coffees throughout the day on the 25th of November.
These participating venues will kindly be making a donation to Movember for each one sold, to help men affected by testicular cancer, prostate cancer and poor mental health.
Movember wil also be opening their own pop-up #IrishCoffeeDay bar at the South William, Dublin 2.
#IrishCoffeeDay is also a great opportunity for the public to host their own fundraiser. For more information on the day, and on how to run your own event, visit: movember.com/IrishCoffeeDay.
Go on – give your lip a creamy Mo.
“The Movember Foundation is the only charity tackling men’s health on a global scale, year round. By 2030, we will reduce the number of men dying prematurely by 25%.
Millions have joined the movement, raising $710 million to help us fund over 1,200 men’s health projects focusing on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.”
