The inaugural Cork Chocolate Festival is taking place at the Cork International Hotel on 24th-26th November 2017, showcasing chocolatiers, chocolate workshops and more chocolate that you could possibly eat.
Held in association with La Rousse Foods, the festival is the only one of its kind in the country and will feature the best chocolatiers in Ireland, who’ll be hosting workshops and selling their delectable treats.
Paul Kelly, Judge of the Great Irish Bake Off and Michelin trained Pastry Chef, will be on hand to do a Chocolate Cookery Demonstration and also create the dessert for the much anticipated Chocolate-Themed Dinner, taking place on Saturday, November 25th.
In the lead up to the event, The Cork International Hotel have a Golden Ticket to be found, with the lucky winner winning a VIP Platinum Package for Two to attend the Cork Chocolate Festival.
The prize, worth almost €500, will include a Chilled Bottle of Prosecco with Chocolate Dipped Strawberries in your deluxe bedroom on arrival on the Friday of the Festival.
The winners will then attend a Wine & Chocolate Masterclass that evening with Classic Drinks. The will have VIP access to the exhibition area for the Saturday and the Sunday, with seated tickets to the Paul Kelly cookery demonstration.
On the Saturday evening, they’ll attend the Chocolate Dinner, which will begin with a Sparkling Reception followed by a delicious dinner cooked by some of Cork’s Best Chefs.
The Golden Ticket search will take place each Sunday at the Cork International Hotel, beginning on Sunday 15th October 2017, and will run for 4 weeks until Sunday 5th November 2017.
Each table that dines at the Sunday Buffet Lunch at the Atlantic Restaurant will get to pick an envelope from the prize draw drum during lunch. There will be a Golden Ticket finalist envelope in the drum.
When the 4 Golden Tickets have been drawn, a final draw will take place on Sunday 12th November 2017, with the lucky winner claiming the VIP Platinum Package.
