Cities of Culture – The Must-Visit Food & Drink Events Around Ireland This Culture Night

Culture Night takes place on Friday, September 22nd all across the country. There are a number of events targeted at food and drink lovers, and we’ve rounded up some of the must-attend culinary events for your area.

DUBLIN

Dublin Food Co-op Event at 12 Newmarket Square, Dublin 8 from 5pm-11pm.

Experience Chinese Tea Culture, 27 Capel St, Dublin 1, from 5pm-10pm

Franciscan Well Brewpub, 14b North Mall, Cork, from 6pm-9pm

The Franciscan Well is one of Ireland’s oldest micro-breweries and they’ll be showcasing Cork’s craft beer culture with a short introduction to the brewing process, history of their site and a tutorial on how to taste beer. For more information, visit franciscanwellbrewery.com.

The Youth Café Network of Cork are coming together to host an international Cookery Demonstration, with cooking lessons and tastings for people of all ages. For more information, visit corkcitypartnership.ie .

L’Atitude 51, 1 Union Quay, Cork, from 4pm-6pm

The Trio behind the “Bringing the Wine Geese Home” tastings are reuniting again this year for Culture Night to lead a historical walking tour around the streets of Cork City. This 2 hour event will retrace the footprints of Cork’s Wine Geese families and will finish with a special Wine Geese tasting in L’Atitude.
