Executive Head Chef David McCann has been overseeing the kitchens at Dromoland Castle since 1995, having honed his craft in the renowned Connaught Hotel in London’s Mayfair. David’s culinary ethos is based on sourcing the finest ingredients locally, with some of the country’s finest artisan producers located in the Burren, on Dromoland’s doorstep.

The Earl of Thomond offers an extensive selection of dining options including à la carte, gastronomic tasting menus and daily table d’hôte menus – so you can experience the full extent of Chef McCann’s skills or enjoy a laid back couple of expertly crafted courses.

The Fig Tree Restaurant is located in the Golf & Country Club on the grounds of Dromoland and offers a less formal dining experience. Their menu changes daily and ranges from sandwiches to comforting main dishes like Fish and Chips or an Irish Beef Burger.

The Gallery offers a more casual dining experience and is ideal for a morning coffee and scones or a light snack. Alternatively, have your snacks packed up for a luxurious picnic to remember on the grounds of the 450 acre estate, with Champagne and delicious treats to indulge in.
