For the second year in a row, Dublin Airport’s Marqette restaurant has been named Airport Food Hall of the Year.
A great achievement for the airport-based eatery, which was shortlisted for the award alongside hundreds of airport restaurants from around the world.
The Moodie Davitt Airport Food and Beverage Awards (FAB Awards) recognise best practises in airport food and beverage.
Speaking about their win, Dublin Airport’s Katie Flood said: “This is a fantastic achievement for Marqette and for Dublin Airport. Winning this prestigious award two years running underscores the high quality of the experience that Marqette offers to our customers on a daily basis.”
Marqette opened in terminal one in September 2015 and has since gone from strength to strength. A new Marqette café opened in terminal one before security to ensure that passengers have multiple options to dine before they fly.
Most recently, Marqette are trialing a new honesty-based food service at Dublin Airport, which mirrors the honesty water boxes currently in place throughout the airport.
