The Dylan Hotel is embracing the happiest season of the year and as part of the memorable experience they’ve created for the holidays, they’ve launched the new Twelve Treats of Christmas Afternoon Tea.
The occasion will allow you to taste twelve tempting treats created by Head Chef Mark Bodie including slow roasted, Irish turkey breast sandwiches, accompanied by mouth-watering Ballymaloe cranberry relish for a Christmas twist, or Irish smoked salmon on soda bread with crème fresh and pomegranate.
Continue with a delectable duck liver parfait on homemade brioche and a Dylan classic – ciabatta with free-range egg mayonnaise and baby gem lettuce.
The sweet part is just as appetising: enjoy freshly baked raisin and cinnamon scones. The fruit ones are served with strawberry jam and clotted cream and the cinnamon ones are enjoyed best with lemon preserve and orange marmalade.
Moving on to the desserts, you’ll be treated to a selection that includes the Dylan homemade Christmas pudding, served with confit ginger for a festive feel and drizzled with Teeling Whiskey butter cream for a merry touch, as well as the Dylan’s mini Mince Pie Lollipops, made with luxurious Cocoa Barry.
Continue with an irresistible Paté á Choux combining exquisite white chocolate and hazelnut ganache layered with pistachio crumble, followed by a decadent Genoise Sponge with chai and coffee mousse. Then taste single origin Madagascan dark chocolate truffles, handmade and dusted with L’Opéra cocoa powder.
While you savour all these treats, choose from a selection of organic teas and fine coffees, or opt for a delicious hot chocolate.
