This November, we’re giving thanks to The Lodge at Ashford Castle for feeding our appetites! The luxurious four star hotel is preparing a traditional Thanksgiving feast to help you celebrate the American holiday at a home away from home.
Thanksgiving traditionally falls on the fourth Thursday of November every year and gives family and friends the opportunity to spend quality time together and reflect on all the things you have to be thankful for.
On November 22nd, The Lodge at Ashford Castle will be dishing out a traditional feast that will impress all foodies, so why not take a leaf out of America’s book this year and give thanks over a delicious meal?
The Harbour Room will be kitted out ‘family style’, with decorated tables and all the traditional Thanksgiving flare. Guests will be treated to a festive three course menu full of seasonal and Thanksgiving inspired classics – with a contemporary Jonathan Keane twist of course!
The array of seasonal favourites will include a warming pumpkin soup, perfectly roasted turkey and sweet and sticky pecan pie, a perfect Thanksgiving dinner without the washing up.
Entertainment on the night will be provided by Carmel Dempsy, Brenda Curtin Diviney, lead fiddle player with Lord of the Dance, and Mike Stewart. The night will kick off at 6:30pm, where guests can enjoy a ‘Fall Cider Cocktail’ or ‘Spiced Pumpkin Eggnog’ while they chat around the toasty fire.
