Enniscorthy Rockin’ Food Festival Returns For An Unmissable Weekend
If you’re looking for something to entertain you this August Bank Holiday Weekend look no further than the Enniscorthy Rockin’ Food Festival.
Running from 3rd – 6th August this festival promises to be fun for all the family with tonnes of events planned over the weekend.
Music lovers can enjoy free Outdoor Rock ‘n’ Roll gigs from local and international acts on the main stage. Passionate foods can sample the culinary delights on offer at the artisan food and drinks market or browse the local crafts on offer.
Over 80 vendors will be in attendance and are sure to satisfy all appetites.
The weekend festival will see 120 exciting events taking place. There are 60 free events with lots of great value ticketed events also on offer.
There will be events for the whole family – for the kids there are Lego Workshops, Children’s Cupcake Classes, Chocolate Camps, Pizza Making Class and Puppet Making Workshops and more.
A number of free events include Puppet Shows, Ancient East Story Telling on the Castle Rooftop, a Selfie Scavenger Hunt and a Medieval History Camp.
For the adults some fantastic new events have been added to this years line up including A Sky High Gin Tasting and Talk, Wine and Antipasti Evenings and Chocolate Truffle Making Classes.
A harvest banquet will be held in the medieval surroundings of Ennniscorthy Castle to celebrate the start of the harvest season.
Guests will enjoy the scenery of the castle gardens sipping on Wexford inspired punch while dinner is cooked over open flames.
The evening will be filled with stories, songs, laughter and seasonal fresh Wexford produce. Tickets to this unforgettable banquet cost €75.00.
