An exclusive tasting evening of fine food and wines takes place in the stunning surroundings of the Garden Room at Castlemartyr Resort on Wednesday February 24th from 7 p.m.
A superb 5-course tasting menu has been designed by Head Chef Kevin Burke to perfectly partner some of the finest wines and champagnes, provided by luxury wine importers Henriot.
A significant name representing centuries of family winemaking expertise, the Henriot portfolio includes the Henriot family brands of award-winning French wines and champagnes, as well as leading producers in Spain and Italy.
Beginning with a champagne reception at 7 p.m., the Henriot tasting dinner gives guests the opportunity to enjoy a selection of courses, each accompanied by a carefully selected choice from the Henriot portfolio which will be introduced by a member of the Henriot team.
This tasting partnership with Henriot wines will showcase some of the world’s biggest and most respected names in wine, from Burgundy’s famous Bouchard Père & Fils and William Fèvre to the legendary Champagne Henriot and the stunning Sauternes of Château Barbier.
Head Chef Kevin Burke creates food respectful of and influenced by the local surroundings, drawing from the wonderful bounty of exceptional ingredients for which East Cork is renowned.
The exclusive tasting evening in the Garden Room at Castlemartyr Resort on Wednesday, 24th February 2016 is available for €95 per person, with a special accommodation rate of €130 for a deluxe room, inclusive of breakfast. Places are limited, so early booking is advisable.
