The Ultimate Feel Good Lunch – Irish Start Up Serves Up Delicious Dishes and Donations

We all start the week with great intentions but often the Monday blues kick in and the saintly promises are out the window by lunchtime. A new Irish start up could be the answer to this cycle, offering delicious plant-based lunch pots which are more than just an easy, healthy lunch al desko option. Headed up by Shane Ryan, FEED aims to ensure your lunch goes further.

This new initiative works with the charitable organisation Mary’s Meals to provide meals for some of the world’s hungriest children in 12 different developing nations. Mary’s Meals feeds over 1 million impoverished children globally, and FEED makes a donation of one school meal to a child in the developing world for every pot sold, so you can rest assured that enjoying this nutritious lunch is more than just delicious.

The handy pots are available in two tempting options – Moroccan Spiced Tagine or Lemongrass and Turmeric Curryand have been developed by chef Hillary Quinn of Dublin Doughnut Co. and Dr. Conor Kerley, a registered dietician, so you can be sure they tick all the boxes on the flavour and nutrition front.

Both options are dairy, gluten and refined sugar free, as well as high in protein and fibre to keep you fuller for longer. With no preservatives and added pea protein, these four minute meals make the perfect meat-free Monday choice to ease you into the week on the right track while making a difference.

These pots are available in Supervalu stores across Dublin and retail at €4.99 each, a small price to pay for lunch with benefits. For more information visit www.eatfeed.ie.
