The Conrad Dublin has proudly announced that seasoned chef Gabriela Gómez Quintana has taken on the role as Executive Head Chef in the Dublin hotel restaurant. This is the first female head chef for the luxurious 5 star property.
Gabriela brings a wealth of international experience to the kitchen, along with her extensive culinary education. Customers are bound to be impressed by her modern take on classic cuisines, with the quality of ingredients being the hero of her dishes.
Her past experience includes senior roles at some of the world’s leading hotels, including 5-star Deluxe Conrad Tokyo, Conrad Algarve, and Hilton Bakú. Gabriela’s career started off with a Chef de Partie position at the prestigious 5-star Savoy London. She has since worked her way around Spain, taking on roles in multiple fine-dining restaurants.
Not only does Gabriela bring a wealth of both hotel & restaurant experience, she is also highly educated with her tenure at I.B.A.H.R.S (International Buenos Aires Hotel & Restaurant School), where she completed the Foundation “Future”, Chef Restaurateur Diploma plus I.A.G Argentinian Gastronomic Institute gaining a Professional Gastronomic Diploma, and moving abroad to Lenôtre E´cole, France, where she completed a French Cuisine Course.
To top off her resume, Gabriela is fluent in Spanish, English, Italian and Portuguese, with further conversational languages. She puts my mediocre level of Spanish and Irish to shame! We’re looking forward to seeing what this super human brings to the table.
