Acclaimed chef Andy McFadden is teaming up with fellow chef Robin Gill to host a collaborative dinner this week in McFadden’s restaurant, Glovers Alley.
Enjoy an evening with the two renowned Irish chefs at a once-off special dinner on Wednesday the 29th of August.
Featuring new dishes from Robin Gill’s book, Larder, the evening will highlight the talents of the two Dublin natives in an unmissable event.
Speaking ahead of the event, Andy McFadden said: “I met Robin in London and always enjoyed eating in his restaurants. I thought that now that I’m back home, it would be a great chance for us both to cook together in Dublin.”
The dinner will begin with a selection of delectable appetisers and Robin’s own charcuterie will be served alongside signature bread from Glovers Alley.
The starter on the night will be a delicious Beef Tartare with Radish, Mustard and Truffle. This will be followed by a fish course and then the main course, which will be taken from Robin’s new book.
The main dish, Lamb Feast, is one of the exciting new dishes taken from Robin’s new book, Larder. To finish, a dessert of Strawberry, Raspberry, Cream Cheese and White Chocolate will be served.
Andy returned to Dublin earlier this year to open Glovers Alley to great acclaim. This came following an 11-year stint in London working in Michelin star restaurants including L’Auture Pied and Pied á Terre.
Robin also made the move to London where he worked under notable chefs such as Marco Pierre White and Raymond Blanc until he opened his own restaurants, The Dairy, Sorella and Counter Culture.
Tickets to this special evening are priced at €80 per person and include a four-course meal as well as appetisers, petit fours and coffee.
