There are less than two weeks to get the reduced ticket price for Food On The Edge 2017, which takes place in the Black Box Theatre in Galway City on the 9th and 10th of October.
The Early Bird Ticket Rate comes to an end on the 31st of July, with a 2-day ticket costing €350 in the offer. This ticket includes access to all talks, lunches and entry to the infamous wrap party.
With tickets selling fast, Food On The Edge director JP McMahon commented: “I would encourage people to get their ticket early. We have an excellent line-up this year and tickets are going to be in high demand.
More names are being announced in the coming weeks, some of whom are highly anticipated and will draw some interesting debate and discussion.”
Major international names announced for this year’s Food On The Edge include cult chefs and stars of the Netflix series Chef’s Table, Nordic chef Magnus Nilsson of Fäviken, Slovenian chef and winner of 2016 Best Female Chef in The World, Ana Roš of Hiša Franko restaurant, plus trailblazer Niki Nakayama, owner of n/naka restaurant in Los Angeles.
The 2017 Food On The Edge venue is the Black Box Theatre, which is located along the banks of the River Corrib in Galway city on the west coast of Ireland.
The event on the 9th and 10th of October will be a mix of 15-minute talks by speakers, panel discussions and masterclass sessions.
An Early Bird Two-Day Ticket at €350 can be booked through www.foodontheedge.ie up to and including the 31st of July. After this date a Two Day ticket is €425 (€325.00 student discount) and €225 for a One Day ticket.
