Electric Picnic, Ireland’s leading music festival returns and with it comes the highly enjoyable Theatre of Food.
Now in it’s 10th year, Theatre of Food is even bigger and better than before. Bringing food demonstrations, cocktail masterclasses, food discussions and more, Theatre of Food is set to be a highlight of the festival.
This year it will feature two brand new stages – a new Workshop Theatre and Drinks Theatre along with the main stage which features a Liam Grant Wood designed bespoke kitchen.
In the Drinks Theatre you will learn how to make the perfect coffee, enjoy a host of cocktails from expert mixologists and Slane Whiskey tastings from Alex and Wolf Conyngham.
Theatre of Food is curated by McKenna’s Guides, along with the support of The Doyle Collection Hotel Group. Head chef from the Doyle Collection Austin Byrne will be cooking up some delicious dishes for the audience.
Food blogger and GAA star Sinéad Delahunty and food writer Finn Ní Fhaolain will be disccusing food and sport. Rosanna Davison will be on hand to give a demo showcasing her cooking secrets to make you look and feel fantastic.
Also in attendance will be Niall Sabongi of Klaw, will be whipping up his much loved poké bowl, as well as acclaimed chef Kevin Thornton, who will be teaching the audience how to make some freshly baked bread.
Electric Picnic is the perfect place for the Theatre of Food to put a little theatrics into food, bringing festival goers the most contemporary Irish food and drinks. Celebrate Theatre of Food’s 10th birthday will a stellar line up of the most creative and talented people in the Irish food scene.
