Mondays can be horrific at the best of times, but lord knows that first sip of coffee can make all the difference and turn your morning around. Dublin’s café scene is more exciting than ever and the bustling village of Ranelagh has just welcomed a new addition – Project Black. To celebrate their opening, they will offer FREE coffee this morning from 8am, but be quick!
Project black is housed in a red brick right next to Ranelagh Luas stop, across from one of our firm favourites, Nick’s Coffee. High ceilings and slick black walls and accents make this petite space seriously striking and that’s all before your first sip of the black stuff.
Two Fifty Square, locally roasted in Rathmines, is the coffee of choice and can be served black or white (both €3), Ice White or Ice Black (€4) and those of us who dodge dairy can choose from soy, almond or coconut milk – bonus! A rotating limited edition coffee will also be on offer as well as V60 filter Yirgacheffe from Ethiopia.
Project Black also serves a selection of cakes and healthy treats, and will branch into savoury sandwiches and lunchtime goodies next week.
