Free Lunch and Cookbook this Friday at Tang Dawson Street in Aid of #CookForSyria

Glenisk, one of Ireland’s best loved yogurt brands has teamed up with similarly yogurt obsessed, Tang by Yogism, to create a series of sweet and savoury recipes, collected in a new free cookbook in aid of the #CookForSyria charity campaign; a celebration of Middle Eastern cuisine in aid of the conflict in Syria.

The ‘Taste the Middle East’ cookbook features a range of mouth-watering, exotic dishes similar to the Middle Eastern inspired dishes served in the Dawson Street based yogurt joint.

To mark this collaboration between Glenisk and Tang in support of #CookForSyria, on Friday the 25th November, all lunchtime visitors to Tang’s Dawson Street store between 12 and 3pm will receive their lunch for free.

Donations will support Unicef’s humanitarian efforts via, working on the ground in Syria to provide clean water, food, medical care, education and counselling to millions of children and their families.

Lunch-diners will also get their own copy of Taste the Middle East, and some Glenisk and Tang goodies to take home with them!

The cookbook is available free of charge directly from both Tang and Glenisk, and can also be downloaded at glenisk.com.

ABOUT #COOKFORSYRIA

#CookForSyria is a nation-wide fundraising initiative curated by Clerkenwell Boy and SUITCASE Magazine. The month-long campaign focused around Syrian cuisine will encourage everyone from the UK’s top chefs to people at home to cook and raise money in aid of UNICEF’s Syria Relief fund via Next Generation London (UNICEF’s youth branch). There are hopes that the initiative will then be continued globally.
