Friday nights are about to get even better with Druid Glen’s new Seafood Feast. The luxurious five star Druids Glen Hotel & Resort is launching its newly designed Garden Rooms and Bar.
To celebrate this new opening, Executive Chef Anthony Duggan has created a seafood-inspired evening.
Seafood Fridays will run for five weeks from 5.30pm until the 28th September. Each week, the seafood special will change to keep diners taste buds on their toes.
Kicking off this gastronomic evening, the first Seafood Friday will take place on the 31st of August. A delicious dish of Smoked Kilmore Quay Cod will be served with champ, poached egg and mustard hollandaise.
In the following weeks, guests can expect culinary delights such as Razor Claws, Lobster Linguine and Bannow Mussels, featured on the menu.
In addition, chef Anthony has designed a sumptuous new seafood dish of Lobster. Anthony will serve the Lobster in two ways; the first in a classic dish of Lobster Thermidor.
Made with a rich creamy sauce and English mustard, the dish is then completed with lashings of grated Gruyère cheese and grilled to perfection.
The second dish will be fresh lobster served with mayonnaise, lime, scallions and samphire. This light refreshing dish would be perfect to enjoy with a glass of chilled Champagne.
The newly designed Garden Rooms and Bar are set to be a hit with guests to Druids Glen. Offering spectacular views over the famous 13th hole on the Druids Glen Golf Course, guests can watch skilled golfers as they enjoy terrific tipples and food.
A picturesque terrace overlooking the golf course has also been opened, where guests can enjoy a relaxed and casual dining experience with food served daily from 10.00am to 10.00pm.
