Feast on a Fur, Feathers and Grapes Tasting Menu at this West Cork Hotel

This November why not treat yourself with a wonderful stay in picturesque West Cork? The stunning Eccles Hotel is hosting a unique ‘Fur, Feathers and Grapes’ event. On the 17th of November, food lovers will enjoy a sumptuous eight-course tasting menu at the luxurious venue.

The event is coming hot off the heels of the hugely popular A Taste of West Cork Food Festival, and is cementing the areas foodie reputation even further – West Cork recently became home to two new Michelin stars.

Boasting over 250 years of history, Eccles Hotel in Glengarriff is the perfect place to experience all that this vibrant corner of Ireland has to offer. Hoards of famous faces such as WB Yeats, Maureen O’Hara and George Bernard Shaw have all visited this iconic hotel throughout the years.

Staying true to the theme of the event, the menu will feature dishes such as rabbit rarebit, pigeon breast, pheasant breast, venison haunch and braised shank. This seasonal menu has been expertly designed and prepared by the hotel’s renowned chef Eddie Attwell. The ‘grapes’ element of the evening will come in the form of wine supplied by Wines Direct.
