The Galway Bay Hotel to Host this Year’s Glittering Galway Hospitality Ball

Following the success of last year’s glittering social get together, the Galway City and County Hospitality Ball 2017 on Thursday 23rd February at The Galway Bay Hotel.

The Galway Hospitality Ball is organised by Irish Hotels Federation (IHF) Galway branch in association with the Galway branches of the Restaurant Association of Ireland, Vintners Federation and SKAL International will host

The black tie event will be hosted by Galway Bay FM’s Keith Finnegan, MC for the evening, with a warm welcome for this year’s honorary guest speaker Connacht Rugby Head Coach Pat Lam.

Radiothon 2017, a charity fundraising collaboration between Galway Bay FM, Galway Hospice foundation and Cancer Care West will benefit from this year’s ball. Radiothon 2017 will broadcast on Galway Bay FM on April 8th and 9th from An Taibhdhearc and tell the stories of those who have journeyed through cancer or who are currently going through treatment.

A champagne reception will take place at 7pm with delectable cocktails and canapés crafted with care by The Galway Bay Hotel’s expert bar staff and award winning head chef, followed by a sumptuous 5 course meal. After dinner, guests can dance the night away to live music by The Good Hustle band. Tickets for the event can be purchased for €50 per person or €450 for a table of 10.

The Irish Hotels Federation look forward to welcoming you all at the Galway Hospitality Ball 2017 for what promises to be an unforgettable night of dinner and dancing in support of the very deserving Radiothon 2017. The aim of Radiothon is to raise awareness about cancer and to raise money for two leading cancer charities in Galway. The generosity of the people of Galway over the last two years has raised a significant sum for the charities involved. Keith Finnegan, CEO and Director of Galway Bay FM said: “Radiothon is one of the best initiatives we have ever embarked on in Galway Bay FM. It draws all of the staff from the station and the charities together and the energy this creates comes across on air on the 7th and 8th of April.”
