Get Skinny Prosecco Delivered to Your Door by Wines of the World

Importers Wines of the World have announced they are now supplying Skinny Prosecco by Thomson & Scott to Ireland.

Amanda Thomson, founder of Thomson and Scott, created the low calorie Prosecco after a hugely successful launch of her Skinny Champagne in 2013. Reacting to the calorie counting market and the current war on sugar, Amanda wanted to create a sparkling wine that was top quality and relatively guilt free.

The Prosecco is a Brut from the Denominzaione Di Origine Controllata (DOC) in Italy and the grape variety is 100% Glera. It contains half the sugar of regular Prosecco at 7g per litre and it works out at 67 calories per 100ml. With an alcohol content of 11%, Skinny Prosecco is also organic and suitable for vegans.

Wines of the World describe it as light and refreshing with floral and apple aromas on the nose. The palate is fresh, lively and fruity with great acidity and notes of green apple, golden apple, honeydew melon and pear. It has great bubbles and maintains a persistent perlage to the end.

They recommend pairing your Skinny Prosecco with cured meats and fruit-driven appetizers like prosciutto-wrapped melon and even some Asian dishes such as Thai noodles and Sushi.

Wines of the World import directly from over 60 wineries around the world, bringing you exclusive products that you won’t find anywhere else. Order your Skinny Prosecco here and discover the whole range at www.winesoftheworld.ie, Twitter and Facebook.
