The Great Irish Food Quiz Arrives to Maperath Farm on May 6th to Support Down Syndrome Ireland

Run by Chef Áine Maguire of The Idle Wall, Westport, Co. Mayo, The Great Irish Food Quiz is moving to Maperath Farm in Kells where this year will be hosted by Olivia Duff of the Headfort Arms Hotel and her husband Eoin Sharkey.

The couple will open their turkey barn to food lovers for an evening of trivia, tastings and tipples! Maperath Farm, which features next week on RTE’s ‘Big Week on the Farm’  is known for its Free Range Bronze Turkeys and Goose for Christmas time.

The Great Irish Food Quiz will be part of the programme for The Boyne Valley Food Series 2017, which are run by Olivia and a hardworking team of local producers. The objective of the night of course is to raise funds for charity, in this case Down Syndrome Ireland. All proceeds on the night going directly to the organisation.

So, brush up on your Food knowledge for The Great Irish Food Quiz isn’t easy!  Prepare for an evening of fun and help support a great cause.

Tickets are €25 per person and teams are made up of 4 people, so a group of 4 will need €100 to secure their place.
