This Sunday 26th of November, one of Dublin’s best independent wine shops, Green Man Wines, is hosting its 3rd Christmas Wine Fair.
The fair will take place from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and there will be over 100 different wines open to taste. It is an ideal opportunity to revisit a few bottles you love and to discover new favourites. Don’t miss the opportunity to try wines from small, artisan producers, family-run wineries from well known and up and coming regions as well as natural and low-intervention bottles.
The event will allow oenophiles to get to know some of the people who bring these wines into Ireland, who’ll be eager to join the conversation and answer questions.
They’ll also have some festive food ideas and nibbles from Lawlor’s Butchers who’ll be there on the day and for those with a sweet tooth, there’ll be delicious mince pies from The Corner Bakery.
This year the Green Man Wines Christmas Fair is moving venue, so the event will take place up the road, in St Joseph’s School hall in Terenure. As the fair has grown and it attracts more visitors each year, this will ensure everyone is comfortable.
This year they’ve teamed up with a partner charity, Harold’s Cross Hospice, founded by the Sisters of Charity in 1879, and dedicated to provide loving health and social care services in the Hospice and community.
Tickets for this event are priced at €20 each.
Where: Saint Joseph’s Parish Hall, Terenure (6 Terenure Road East, Dublin)
