Nothing says summer like a picnic in the sun. So, hold onto your picnic baskets because you can get your weekend off to the perfect start by grabbing yourself a free lunch in Dublin today.
Heinz [Seriously] Good Mayo is hosting a mayonnaise-themed picnic in Merrion Square today from 12-30-3pm, the first of a total of 10 picnics around the country this summer.
Firm believers that a picnic is nothing without a sandwich and a sandwich is nothing without Heinz, they’ll be letting you upgrade your food with their mayonnaise at each of the picnics. Each picnic will boast unmissable entertainment, music and some delicious food of course.
The final picnic will be a playground for food lovers, with a special appearance at Taste of Dublin, with Gourmet Food Parlour working with Heinz on some exciting variations of the humble chip to match the mayonnaise.
A selection of complementary rustic, sweet potato, courgette and beetroot fries will be on offer along with some mini beef sliders elevated to the next level.
Speaking about the picnics, Emily O’Kane, Marketing Manager for Heinz, said: “We are really excited about the Heinz [Seriously] Good Mayonnaise Summer Picnic Series and our appearance at Taste of Dublin.”
She added: “Since its launch in 2016 our [Seriously] Good Mayonnaise has become extremely popular due to its superior quality ingredients and irresistible taste. We’re looking forward to bringing this to as many consumers as possible over the course of the summer.”
