New year, new you, right? Sticking to the goal of eating healthier is always a challenge, especially when your repertoire of recipes is not precisely perfect to back your goals.
But don’t let routine dampen your determination, award-wining food shop Avoca will be hosting a series of cookery demos created to help you get inspired and discover new good-for-you dishes and tips with lots of flavour that you can realistically cook at home.
The demos will take places at their Kilmacanogue shop and they will start on the 17th of January, running every Wednesday until the 7th of February.
The first demo will feature chef and author Domini Kemp, who will share recipes from her best-selling cookbook, “The Ketogenic Kitchen” (check out a book review on TheTaste).
On 24th January, Nutritionist, Rebecca Redmond will reveal a few simple tweaks you can make for healthier eating accompanied by Executive Chef, Leylie Hayes.
On the 31st of January, Avoca’s culinary genius, Mark McGillycuddy, will share his guilt-free light recipes for the New Year.
And finally, on the 7th of February, meet Giorgio Romano, Avoca’s Italian chef, who will teach you fabulous recipes for stress-free entertaining.
Tickets for the demos are priced at €15 per person, and they include a recipe booklet, morning coffee and a healthy little treat.
Time: Every Wednesday from 17th January – 7th February starting at 9:45 am
