Sligo’s serial restaurateur, Anthony Gray expanded his restaurant family this week with the opening of Hooked.
The restaurant opened this Wednesday, November 23rd, at 3-4 Rockwood Parade, in Sligo town.
Open from noon everyday, Hooked hopes catch people’s attention with its signature droolworthy brunch menu.
The restaurant invites you to ‘Get Messy’ with its 12 Hour Slow Cooked Pork Belly and there’s a twist on the classic Egg’s Benedict, served with smoked chorizo on thick toasted sourdough.
If you really want a blow-out brunch indulge in their dessert options like White Chocolate Mousse and Knickerbocker Glory, both complete with ice-cream and sorbet from Sligo’s famous from Mammy Johnston’s.
Hooked will also be the exclusive stockist to the North West of Dibarcafé Coffee.
Their evening menu features group pleasers like Hooked Crispy Chicken Wings and Hooked Beer Battered Newspaper Crispy Fish & Chips.
Already getting into the festive swing of things, there’s also a three course Christmas Menu for groups of six or more on offer, for just €29.95 person.
To start Hooked brings back a Retro Prawn Cocktail featuring butter poached king prawns, which will whet your appetite for the likes of a 6oz cut of Sherlock’s finest rib eye, served with chimichurri and truffle mayo, wild mushroom ragu, and roasted paprika potatoes.
Open from 12 daily, brunch will be served until 5pm followed by their evening menu.
