Soul Space – This Kilkenny Hotel is Hosting an Unmissable Health And Wellness Evening

On The 25th of October, Hotel Kilkenny are hosting an evening of integrated health and wellness coaching with some tips on how to achieve health and happiness in your own life.

Hotel Kilkenny have invited Miriam and Gerry Hussey, Co-Founders of ‘The Awakening’ and ‘Soul Space’ to speak at the event. Gerry is a Performance Psychology Consultant & Motivational Speaker and is passionately committed to building human capacity. Miriam is a Pharmacist, Integrated Wellness & Nutritional Coach. She has a passion for holistic health and well-being as well as running yoga retreats.

The dynamic duo will be speaking about how to unlock and uncover the very best of yourself and awaken your true potential. Miriam will discuss emotional eating and our relationship with food, as well as how weight loss, stress, poor sleeping patterns and nutrition all effect our body.

Meanwhile, Gerry will focus on the power of the mind, how to develop mental fitness and how to strip away learned behaviours in order to reconnect with the very best version of you. This will be a very educational, interesting discussion for those who want to fulfill their body and mind’s potential.

Also speaking on the night is Irish international track and field athlete and Celebrity MasterChef Ireland winner David Gillick, who will chat about how attitude is key when it comes to your overall health.

David’s decision to change his attitude and think positively has proved successful in both his sports and culinary career. On the night he will share his personal experience with the power of positive thinking and a healthy attitude.

Making an appearance on the night, Brent Pope, Irish television star and fashion designer, will be talking about his journey of self-discovery and the importance of mental health and wellbeing for sporting and non-sporting lives. Brent is involved in several mental health charities and is an ambassador for St Patrick’s Hospital Walk in My Shoes, Cycle Against Suicide.

Alike many others, Brent’s experience with anxiety and panic attacks have taught him that it is necessary to mind your mental health. Brent will share some tips and techniques on how to deal with stress, anxiety and depression, and will share proven strategies for success in sport, life and mental health.

The evening will finish with a Q&A session, giving you the opportunity to ask the experts individual questions. There’s no need to wait until January – why not make some positive changes, before the new year starts, and mind yourself as well as others.
